The two men blamed for the Novichok poisonings in Salisbury - Alexander Petrov and Ruslan Boshirov will be given travel bans and have their assets frozen in new sanctions imposed by the EU.
It's part of new mechanism to punish chemical weapons attacks.

Today during the Executive Council meeting @OPCW the Joint Proposal by Canada, the US and the NL has been adopted by consensus. This is the first step on the way to put Novichok used in the #Skripal case on the list of prohibited chemicals of the Chemical Weapons Convention.
